Innovation as a constant feature for the future
The businesses linked to Espaitec wager innovation as a constant feature for the future. As part of the Open and Virtual Congress IV in Castellón 2020, Paco Negre, CEO of the UJI´s science, technology and business park, Espaitec, has lead a forum between businesses of different sectors and sizes linked to the park, who have shown the entrepreneurial spirit and the innovation that exists in Castellón.
Rafael Forcada, CEO of ActualMed, started the session, pointing out that innovative ideas applied to real needs frequently allows products and services that don´t require investment to be supplied, as well as ensuring costs are saved, referring to cases like his own in which his entrepreneurial activity is based on an online platform where medical images are stored and managed.
Amongst the conclusions the invites reached the need for reinvention by local businesses and to wager for innovation and benchmarking to generate more competitive businesses stand out. The speakers coincided in that a good goal to aim for is to position Castellón as a “factory of ideas.”
